Angel Runners Needed for the Hogeye Half Marathon

Ainsley’s Angels of America is rolling in 30 states and over 50 cities, but we are brand new to NW Arkansas! Our mission is pure and simple: INCLUSION and JOY! We pair Angel Runners with Athlete Riders (children and adults with developmental disabilities) in endurance events. Two to three runners are assigned to a racing chariot before each race. We like to say that the rider in that chariot “pulls” us through the race and across the finish line!

Ainsley’s Angels in Arkansas is currently recruiting Angel Runners of all paces and Rider Athletes for the Hogeye Half Marathon on April 14.  If you believe you have what it takes to be an Angel Runner, please register at https://ainsleysangels.org.  Click Arkansas and then click Fort Smith (Fort Smith is where Arkansas’ Ambassadorship is located). Athlete Riders may also register on this site.

Registration is free and provides each Angel Runner and Athlete Rider with insurance during our events. Angel Runners will only be asked to make a small donation to cover the cost of the Ainsley’s Angels Tech Shirt to wear during our races ($25).

If you have not registered for the Hogeye Half Marathon, we have discount codes for Angel Runners and a code to waive the registration fee for Athlete Riders.

If you have any questions, please contact Ainsley’s Angels in Arkansas’ Ambassador Jarrett Banks at 252-414-9229 or at [email protected].
