In order to secure your charity bib there are a few steps that need to take place, as outlined in this agreement. Failure to meet said goals by established deadlines will result in forfeit of reserved bib(s) and, or your credit card being charged the remaining balance. Goal Option*Sponsor will provide the team with said number of bibs upon completion of fundraising goal. Please select your desired goal option. *If unforeseen circumstances arise such as injury, or other emergency and you cannot run the event, we will handle those issues on a case by case basis. An unforeseen circumstance does not include your failure to prepare for this event. Goal of $775: Bib for ATHLETE-Rider or Angel-Runner, invitation to pre-race dinner, access to race day charity events and use of our hotel block rate code.Goal of $150: MEMBER HAS A BIB VIA OTHER MEANS. Go to https://www.givesignup.org/AinsleysAngelsMCM to register for the event. Start by selecting which option you require, NEED a bib ($775 fundraising goal) or HAVE a bib ($150 fundraising goal). Follow all the steps and at the end you will be automatically prompted to establish your fundraising page. Please name the page based on the runner or rider's name. Add a picture and ensure you take a moment to share your story with Ainsley's Angels and to set the goal to the desired bib option plan ($775, or $150). 3. Begin actively fundraising. There are a few deadlines that must be met, and they are: a. 50% of goal by June 1st. b. 75% of goal by July 1st. c. 100% of goal by August 1st. 4. Once Candidate has reached goal, notify AAA at [email protected] 5. Actual race registration will occur in August. 6. The Marine Corps Marathon will be following a strict duo team policy. As such, this contract extends the opportunity for you to run for the Ainsley’s Angels Charity Team and does not imply you will be paired to begin the marathon with an athlete-rider.Waiver of Consequential Damages (Initial)* In no event shall Sponsor be liable or obligated in any manner for any special, incidental, exemplary, or consequential damages of any kind. Candidate acknowledges that participation in running events involves rigorous physical activity and that it potentially may be hazardous. Candidate attests and verifies that Candidate is physically fit and has sufficiently trained for events. Candidate expressly assumes all known and unknown risk associated with the events that Candidate participates in as a representative of Sponsor.
