SUMMARY:EASTERN CAROLINA: Marine Corps Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate the 11th Anniversary of our Ainsley’s Angels in Eastern Carolina family! We made our debut as an organization at this event back in 2012! We are a proud sponsor of this event and will soon have register codes to provide our Angel Runners and Riders! If you are a registered Angel Runner or Rider\, don’t register until you have this special code! It will be emailed to you as soon as we have them! A base pass is needed to attend the event and they can be secured through your registration\, if you don’s already have one. \nThe Marine Corps Half Marathon is steeped in history and tradition. The Marine Corps Half Marathon provides runners the honor of running aboard the majestic Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Runners will experience a scenic course beginning at the Wallace Creek Fitness Center. Along the course\, runners will take a personal “tour” of the base\, passing notable sites such as the beautiful waters of the New River\, Morgan Bay\, and Farnell Bay; the Paradise Point Golf Course where the Heroes Mile will be on display; and neighborhood communities before completing their journey back at Wallace Creek Fitness Center.\nThis course is not USATF certified.\nThis race is open to the public.
