SUMMARY:Volunteer Opportunity / Give Back to Guardian Angel Chase Scott
DESCRIPTION:Chase volunteered for the first time as a Guardian Angel just days before his diagnosis.  Chase is the nephew of Ohio Ambassador Tina and cousin to Athlete Rider Ricki.  Chase is a kind\, fun loving\, dirt bike riding\, four-wheeler squealing\, recently licensed driver. Chase is a 16-year-old sophomore at West Branch High School in Beloit\, Ohio. Chase is described as a “loyal”\, “hard working” employee by his employer Nikki at Zep’s Pizza in Sebring. Chase is a big brother to Gage and Ava\, and first-born son to Brittney and Ramon. Chase is a cousin\, nephew\, grandson\, great grandson and friend to many. Chase is a helper. In November of 2022 . Chase’s life became changed forever when\, with very little notice he was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at Akron Children’s Hospital. As you can imagine this diagnosis turns a family’s world upside down. As a community we are coming together to support this family not only financially but with care\, comfort and kindness in hopes to make this burden\, this tragedy… a bit softer and lighter. This benefit is a collaborative effort of many kind people. Some\, we as Chase’s family have never even met. This kind of support and love is one the biggest forms of healing. We welcome you to journey with us through this event and the days leading up to it to join us. We have many fun things planned. We plan to laugh and have a good time as we work together. We welcome your support\, your ideas\, your donations of items and time. We can’t wait to break bread and fellowship with you on June 11 at Almost Home Event Center in Sebring Ohio \nWe are in need of door prizes/baskets for raffle\, people to set up\, serve clean up. DESCRIPTION:Cookies? This charity run does have a unique twist compared to most run/walk events\, with a focus on cookies! At each water station on the course\, the participant must eat 3 cookies to move on to the next station. There is\, of course\, an option for competitive runners to opt out of eating the cookies.
