SUMMARY:Greenville-Neuse River Bridge Run
DESCRIPTION:***DESTINATION RACE \nAdults and children\, lace up your running shoes for fun\, exercise and a worthy cause! For over 16 years\, the Neuse River Bridge Run has been uniting runners\, walkers\, volunteers and sponsors– all to support seven important non-profits in our community. In-person 1/2 Marathon and the 10K courses feature a run over the large span of the Neuse River Bridge. All three courses\, 5K-10K-1/2 marathon\, include a run over the George Cunningham Bridge which spans the Trent River.  Then the courses wind through a circuit around and though historic New Bern. The races all finish on East Front Street in front of the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center. A celebration for all participants will be held in the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center (across the street from Union Point Park) from 8:30 a.m. to Noon Food\, soft drinks\, and beer will be served and awards!

It will be held at the same location as last year — Crown Point Shores North\, on April 29\, 2023. \n8:00 – Registration\n9:00 – Opening Remarks\n9:15 – Kids Dash for Down Syndrome\n9:30 – Walk/Run Begins\n11 – 12 – Awards\, Activities\, and Community \nEach registrant receives a shirt\, medal\, and\, of course\, a donut! In order to guarantee a shirt\, you must register by April 10th. T-shirts must be picked up at the event or before/after the event at the Playhouse in Pacific Beach. \nStart a team with your friends\, family\, or coworkers! Team Captains that raise $500 by April 15th will get a customized sign with their team or loved one’s photo displayed along the route.
