The 5K and 10K  will be along the bike path and wind through a ravine\, horses\, wooden bridges\, and natural scenery. \nWe will have an aid station at the 5K turnaround and the 10K turnaround. DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate the 11th Anniversary of our Ainsley’s Angels in Eastern Carolina family! We made our debut as an organization at this event back in 2012! We are a proud sponsor of this event and will soon have register codes to provide our Angel Runners and Riders! If you are a registered Angel Runner or Rider\, don’t register until you have this special code! It will be emailed to you as soon as we have them! A base pass is needed to attend the event and they can be secured through your registration\, if you don’s already have one. \nThe Marine Corps Half Marathon is steeped in history and tradition. The Marine Corps Half Marathon provides runners the honor of running aboard the majestic Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Runners will experience a scenic course beginning at the Wallace Creek Fitness Center. Along the course\, runners will take a personal “tour” of the base\, passing notable sites such as the beautiful waters of the New River\, Morgan Bay\, and Farnell Bay; the Paradise Point Golf Course where the Heroes Mile will be on display; and neighborhood communities before completing their journey back at Wallace Creek Fitness Center.\nThis course is not USATF certified.\nThis race is open to the public. This afternoon of fun includes a Texas Hold Em Tournament\, BBQ\, and Beer!  Your ticket includes your buy-in to the poker tournament\, t-shirt\, all-you-can-eat BBQ\, and beer…What’s better? There will also be raffles and give-aways you will not want to miss and CASH prizes (1st place $500/2nd place $300/3rd place $100). Please contact Misty if you plan on participating in this event. RaceMaker Productions is stocked to return the 2nd Annual Westfield Try Tri in Westfield\, Indiana at the beautiful Westfield YMCA Aquatic Center! The pool is gorgeous and will give us a perfect season ending distance of 250 yards doing a serpentine swim. We have a nice bike course giving riders some great straights to hammer out miles on. The Monon will give us a perfect run course to wrap up Westfield Try Tri & entire Try Tri Indy Series!t

The race is an official\, certified course on the beautiful Wichita State University Campus and will begin in the Steve Clark YMCA parking lot. Following the race\, several speakers and awards will be given. The event will conclude with a 1 Mile Memorial Walk in honor of those who lost their lives to suicide. All registrants for the run and walk will receive a race t-shirt.
