DESCRIPTION:Alexandria Senior High\n800 Ola St.\nAlexandria\, LA US 71303 \nThe Lauren Vaughn Memorial Foundation will host the LV5K walk/run on April 04\, 2026\, at the Alexandria Senior High School football field. This memorial walk/run is to remember and honor the life of Lauren Vaughn and others who lost their lives to impaired driving.  The money raised will go towards the Lauren Vaughn Memorial Scholarship at NSU for the Accelerated BS to BSN Program\, benefiting future nurses and raising awareness about drunk and impaired driving. \nMultiple options to participate: \n💜 Show up in person on race day for the 1-mile or 5K. \n💜 Virtual for our out-of-town friends and family who love to walk or run and want to support. \n💜 Sleep In option if you want to stay in bed but still support. \n🗓️ Pickup Friday\, April 03\, 2026\, from 10:00-5:00 at Little Cakes with Big Attitude  (4120 Jackson St.\, Alexandria\, LA 71303) \n🚨 Race Day\, April 04! Packets can be picked up on the race day before the races start. The 1-mile begins at 8:00\, and the 5K starts at 8:30 \n🥇 Awards given for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd Place Overall Male and Female\, and for Individual Age Groups in both the 5K and 1-mile in-person races. \nWe will give virtual shout-outs for bragging rights for the virtual race. \n(5K Age Groups: 10 & under\, 11-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, and 70 & over).\n(1 Mile Age Groups: 5 & under\, 6-9\, 10-13\, 14-17\, 18 & over).\nAwards Ceremony – Immediately following the completion of the 5K. \nWe have a limited number of medals ordered. Order early to ensure you get one! \nRegistrations received on or before 11:59 p.m. on Sunday\, March 15th\, will receive a shirt at packet pickup. DESCRIPTION:Place\n820 Kiroli Road\nWest Monroe\, LA US 71291\n\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nThis will be our 6th annual Autism Acceptance Festival and Fun Run on Saturday\, April 11\, 2026\, at Kiroli Park in West Monroe\, Louisiana. This family-friendly event celebrates acceptance\, inclusion\, and community for individuals of all ages. \n  \nFun Run Details \nDistance: 1-mile Fun Run \nCourse: The course will be mapped only on the paved roads inside the park. No trails will be included. \nChildren Pricing: $15 (ages 4–12) \nWater will be provided throughout the course. Snacks and additional water will be available at the finish line. \n  \nRegistration and T-Shirts \nRegister by March 15\, 2026\, to receive a free event T-shirt. \nTeams \nParticipants may create or join a team during registration. \nIf you have several people signing up together\, one person can create a team name. SUMMARY:Miles for Missions 5k
DESCRIPTION:404 church st\nColumbia\, LA US 71418 \nMiles for Missions is an annual 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k with all proceeds going to support youth and their summer Mission Trip!  We are moving back to town!  With the growth of our run the last couple of years\, parking has become more of an issue for our run.  We are so thankful that we have been able to partner with Spartan Fitness for the start and finish of our race.  This year we will move back to town to the church for the start and finish.  It will be at First Baptist Church\, 404 Church St. Columbia LA 71418.  We are also going to have a family day following the race!  We will have food and lots of fun for the entire family.  This is an officially timed race. 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 sharp.  5k will begin at 8:30 AM.    We do print extra shirts and purchase extra medals for race day but sizes are not guaranteed.  Everyone receives a finisher medal.  There is an overall prize for 1st place in Men’s and Women’s.  There is a 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place medal for each age category\, starting with 18 and under\, 19-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, 70-79 and 80 and older. \nNELA Monroe Ainsley’s Angels will be participating in the event.
