Our signature 5K\, proudly presented by TOTE\, is the main event but there’s more action-packed fun in store. Join us for the one-mile Dash for Dreams\, perfect for all ages\, and don’t miss DreamFest — a family-friendly celebration just beyond the finish line\, generously presented by Chick-fil-A. This year\, we’re going full superhero mode\, and we want to see you in your best cape\, mask\, or hero gear as we celebrate the real stars of the day: our incredible Dreamers. \nDreams Come True is the First Coast’s ONLY locally-based dream granting organization dedicated to using the power of a dream to bring hope and joy to EVERY First Coast child battling a life-threatening medical condition. Since 1984\, we have fulfilled the dreams of more than 5\,000 children. No child is ever denied a dream and no child is ever placed on a waiting list. \nIn addition to granting children’s dreams\, Dreams Come True supports Dreamers and their families during their entire medical journey through the Special Times program. SUMMARY:BASCA CapeABILITIES 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk
DESCRIPTION:Unleash your INNER HERO and support those with disabilities at the BASCA CapeABILITIES 5K! \nJoin us for the 13th Annual BASCA Cape”ABILITIES” 5K/1M fun walk on September 27\, 2025 at 8:00AM in Orange Park\, FL.  This family-friendly event invites participants of all ages and abilities to Run\, Walk or Roll for a great cause! \nGet ready to put on your CAPE and show your support for people of ALL abilities!  Registration kicks off at 7:00 AM\, with the race starting at 8:00 AM for all runners. Enjoy a scenic 3.1 mile course or a 1 Mile Fun Run through historic Orange Park. All runners receive a commemorative race T-shirt* and finisher medial. Runners participating in the 5K are eligible for overall and age group awards. Additionally\, chip timing and finish line photos are available for all 5K and Fun Run runners.  \nBASCA is thrilled to have Ainsleys Angels participating in this years CapeABILITIES 5K and Fun Run! \nBASCA serves adults with intellectual and developmental differences by providing residential services\, vocational training\, life skills programs and community inclusion activities. \n**This fundraiser will be used to install emergency generators in our group homes\, ensuring our clients are safe and comfortable during storms!!**
