Inspired by Bernard’s favorite shirt\, which read\, “Heaven is my Home\, I’m just Here Recruiting\,” this unique experience reflects his dream of making baptism accessible to everyone who feels called to commit their life to Jesus.\nThe Backstory\nTeam Bernard Prince was born from a heartfelt conversation in 2022 during a Physical Therapy session. DESCRIPTION:Place\n403 N. Main St\nFarmerville\, LA US 71241\n\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nThe 2026 Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5k event offers a great challenge to local runners and walkers. This course is a fast first mile downhill followed by what we like to affectionately call Watermelon Mountain at mile 2. \nThis year\, proceeds from the event will go to Willpower Foundation\, Inc. This is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers in Northeast Louisiana that host events to race money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Learn more about the organization from their website linktr.ee/willpowerfoundation. \nTo top it all off\, at the end of the race there will be slices of locally grown Louisiana Watermelon for all finishers to enjoy. \nYour race entry will include this year’s race t-shirt guaranteed for online registration until July 14th\, 2026! \nRace day registration begins at 6:30 AM in parking lot in front of the Farmerville First Baptist Church\, 403 N.
