DESCRIPTION:NELA Ainsley’s Angels will be participating again this year in the Narrow Road 5k/10k that will be held on Saturday September 27\,2025 at 8am \n3900 Loop Rd\nMonroe\, LA US 71201. \nThe Narrow Road 5K/10K is a road race sponsored by First Methodist Monroe in Monroe\, LA.  The goal of The Narrow Road is to foster a spirit of community and philanthropy while helping those who are less fortunate in our community. \nThe 5K run/walk will be one time around the course.  The 10K run will be two times around the course. If you are walking\, we ask that you choose the 5K race option. \nIt is a morning race. If any Ainsley’s riders are interested in participating in this race please message nelouisiana@ainsleysangels.org. DESCRIPTION:Unleash your INNER HERO and support those with disabilities at the BASCA CapeABILITIES 5K! \nJoin us for the 13th Annual BASCA Cape”ABILITIES” 5K/1M fun walk on September 27\, 2025 at 8:00AM in Orange Park\, FL.  This family-friendly event invites participants of all ages and abilities to Run\, Walk or Roll for a great cause! \nGet ready to put on your CAPE and show your support for people of ALL abilities!  Registration kicks off at 7:00 AM\, with the race starting at 8:00 AM for all runners. Enjoy a scenic 3.1 mile course or a 1 Mile Fun Run through historic Orange Park. All runners receive a commemorative race T-shirt* and finisher medial. Runners participating in the 5K are eligible for overall and age group awards. Additionally\, chip timing and finish line photos are available for all 5K and Fun Run runners.  \nBASCA is thrilled to have Ainsleys Angels participating in this years CapeABILITIES 5K and Fun Run! \nBASCA serves adults with intellectual and developmental differences by providing residential services\, vocational training\, life skills programs and community inclusion activities. \n**This fundraiser will be used to install emergency generators in our group homes\, ensuring our clients are safe and comfortable during storms!!**

DESCRIPTION:Reach out to Kristy or Misty if you want to join us for this race!\nThe Zionsville Optimist Club is proud to announce the 43rd annual Hit the Bricks 5K Run & Walk on Saturday\, September 27! We’ve had 42 consecutive years with no rain\, and are the longest continuing event in Boone County!\nThis year’s event features the usual 5K race/walk\, utilizing elements of Zionsville’s Rail Trail and also looping through the historic downtown area\, before returning to the start/finish at the Town Hall. Additionally we will have a 3K walk (Not timed) for those wanting a more leisurely stroll through beautiful Zionsville.\nEstablished in 1981\, the Zionsville Optimist Club is a local chapter of Optimist International (optimist.org). Our motto is “Friend of Youth”. Please help us fund important programs for youth in our community. The Zionsville Optimist Club is well known for their support of local youth and other local charities.\nProudly SupportingWe are excited to announce that the Zionsville Food Pantry will be our highlighted local charity this year\, and Hit the Bricks fundraising will be contributing a large portion of funds to this worthy organization after the race. The Zionsville Optimist Club plans to spotlight other local charities that support children in the Zionsville/Boone County area in future years.\nThis event is our largest Optimist Club fundraiser for the year. DESCRIPTION:Registration information coming soon. \nThe Dragon Run benefits: \nThe Nathaniel Boerlin Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to the passions of Nate Boerlin.  Nate was a proud 16 year old honor student at Kingsway Regional High School who also excelled as a percussionist.  Nate died suddenly in April 2007\, from complications of a GBM\, GLIOBLASTOMA  MULTIFORME\, an aggressive stage IV brain cancer.  All proceeds from the Race will benefit the NBSF\, where a perpetual scholarship is given to a deserving graduate from KRHS who emulates Nate’s passions for learning and music. \n
