Tanya McGee, best known as Ainsley's "Nannie", serves as Senior Vice President overseeing the Ainsley's Angels Ambassador program. The Ambassador program is comprised of regional and local level ambassadors whose purpose is to ensure that rider athletes around the country are able to participate in endurance events. Each level of ambassadorship is a vital component of ensuring the AAA mission is executed successfully across the nation. Tanya began her journey with Ainsley's Angels at the organization's inception, serving as a lead guardian angel in one of AAA's first local programs in Southwest Louisiana (SWLA) and through Ainsley's inspiration, becoming an Angel Runner in 2012.
Tanya has made it her life's work to help individuals live a satisfying, hopeful and contributing life. She has a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and serves as the Executive Director of Imperial Calcasieu Human Services Authority which provides administration, operations and management of all federally and state funded programs for mental health, addiction and developmental disabilities for the citizens of SWLA. During the course of her career which began in 1999, she has served on various local, state, and national boards and commissions, is a published author in professional journals, and conducted multiple presentations at national and international conferences within the field of behavioral health. She is married to Reagan McGee, Equipment Guardian Angel for AAA in SWLA, and they have 3 children, Jimmy, Madelyn and Alivia.
